I am skipping lyrics for "Bunnies" because, frankly, I hear one thing and the lyrics online tell me another and I'm just not convinced. Plus, they are really besides the point. I'm not particularly familiar with Howie Day's music. My boyfriend played The Madrigals EP for me recently and when I heard this song I fell in love instantly. I've been listening to it everyday since.Now, if I saw Howie Day on the street I'd probably brush him off as some lame pretty boy who thinks he can play guitar and sing. But when I heard this song I was convinced otherwise. However, even the audio doesn't do it full justice, which is why I've posted a video of a live performance and it's absolutely mind blowing. If you pay attention, you'll notice he's the only one on stage but the song has a lot going on. Luckily the video I found is a great one and actually shows you how he achieved playing all the different parts himself. Just watch. It's seriously amazing.
